Thanks to everyone for your nice comments on my last post on Halloween cupcakes. I still have more Halloween cupcakes for you and this time they are more on the creepy side. The first creepy cupcake is a bloody finger I made out of modeling chocolate. I basically just free-formed the modeling chocolate to look like a finger and then added some accents to make it look more realistic. Here are some photos of the process.
First shape the modeling chocolate into a finger form and make an indent for the nail bed.
Then use a toothpick to make ridges on the finger to make it look more realistic and to give it some shape. Also take a little piece of modeling chocolate and form a finger nail. Before you add the finger nail put some red food coloring on the nail bed so you can see blood around the edges.
Then adhere the nail. Next add some blood marks around the finger.
The next cupcake I made was a monster cupcake. It is definitely a free form monster and you can change around the look anyway you like.
Then just stick the dried legs randomly into the cupcake so they won’t fall out and place the eye in the center.
Hope you try them out!
