I know I have been featuring LOTS of baby showers lately, but the truth is that I have lots of pregnant friends right now…I guess it’s that time!  I love the look of this shower that Angel Swanson, of Love and Splendor, put together for our friend Kristin, of Petal and Thorn.  The earthy, woodsy feel is so gorgeous looking and perfect for a fall time baby shower.

I love the simplicity of the flowers that Angel did…pure gorgeousness!

Here are some close up’s of the cake I took at the shop.  We made a wood grain effect on the chocolate fondant and then accented it with a large fushia gloriosa lily sugar flower.
