Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Wedding

I am so excited to share this post with you!!! We have loved working with Tori & Dean on their new show “sTORIbook Weddings“! We taped three weddings with them and our first wedding they are airing is the Shabby Chic themed wedding we got to work on with Jeni & Alyson from, Found Vintage Rentals, who provided all the fabulous vintage rentals and Jaclyne of Heavenly Blooms did the gorgeous florals!

I had a crazy idea of hanging small cakes inside wire birdcages and then having Jaclyne hang florals in jars as well and I have to say my vision came to life pretty well!

We accented the mini cupcakes we vintage fondant flowers.

I also really loved these mini mason jar red velvet cakes that we tied with lace and added a wooden spoon to!

For the wedding cake the bride loved the idea of having her wedding cake in teal and then we accented it with sugar lace doilies.

I just adore peonies…

We thought it would be cute to make individual heart pies with the bride & groom’s initials.

I just love all of Jeni’s rentals…they are so much fun!

Overall we had a really great time being about of this gorgeous Shabby Chic wedding! Thanks Tori & Dean! You can check out all the episodes on the Oxygen Network every Wednesday night at 10pm!

Watch Us Tonight: sTORIbook Weddings on OXYGEN!!!

Bride & Bloom Magazine

Boy have I waited a long time to feature these photos! I was lucky enough to be a part of this gorgeous shoot last year and we were so happy to finally see it get featured in Bride & Bloom Magazine! The wonderful team behind the beautiful photos are Stephanie Williams who shot the day, Heavenly Blooms who did the amazing florals, and Posh Paperie who created the adorable paper goods! I hope you enough this lovely Spring shoot as much as I did!

For the cake I decided to incorporate both round and petal tiers and I love the overall shape of the cake. We used the lace pattern that Posh Paperie designed and printed it out on edible frosting sheets and then adhered it to the cake. Finally we made a beautiful open sugar pink peony to accent the top of the cake.

I was lucky enough to be featured twice in the magazine…below is another one of my cakes. I love the combo of pink and gold together!

Some other exciting news is happening this week! Some of you might know that I had the great opportunity to film with Tori & Dean on their upcoming new wedding series “STORIbook Weddings“. We filmed 3 out of the 8 episodes with them and the season starts this Wednesday @ 10pm on the Oxygen Network! I don’t know exactly what episode numbers we are on, but I would definitely tune in for the whole series as it should be a lot of wedding fun!
