I have to say one of my favorite new trends that started this past year or two was the love of succulents and the chevron pattern! I am totally a clean, modern type of girl so this wedding is speaking my love language! I had the pleasure of working with the fabulously talented Carissa, from JL Designs yet again who did the amazing floral and event design. The wedding was held at the Luxe Hotel in Bel Air and LRS Event Planning helped the day come together beautifully! I love all the gorgeous photos Meg Perotti shot and can’t wait to work with her again!

How stunning is the bride Melissa!

Carissa is the master of all things succulents…just love everything she does with them!

For the wedding cake we incorporated a grey chevron pattern and then did a single sugar succulent on the top tier to keep with the simple, modern look of the wedding!

This has to be one of my favorite dessert set ups from last year. I love my new clear stands…they showcase the desserts perfectly!

How great are these next few photos…the wedding night looked like it was so much fun!

Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your special day Melissa and Jason!

Those clear displays are amazing. Where did you get them??
Hello Melody,
I love your creativity! I’ve been following your blog and have been meaning to come by to your shop. I live in the OC, and although LB is not that far, I haven’t made it there it. Can’t wait to try the desserts. It will be much better than staring at them on your website.
