Baby shower season for my friends and I is finally starting to slow down and most of us have our little bundles of joy at home with us now…yippee!  This next adorable shower was for my amazing friend Christina, from Simply Modern Weddings, and we couldn’t wait to shower her and her little future man, James the 5th, with lots of love and of course yummy dessert!  Little J5 is now 1 month old and he is more handsome than ever!

The look for the shower was Rock n Roll since the mommy to be and her hubby James love all things music!  She also is obsessed with the color turquoise (and who can blame her) so we definitely knew we wanted to incorporate that into the shower.  Courtney, from Joyful Joyful Designs, headed up most of the shower and created the adorable record signs & made some really delicious food.  Carissa, from JL Designs, hosted the shower at her fabulous house and of course did the gorgeous florals!  Carlie, from Gabriel Ryan Photographers, shot the whole day and like always her photos are perfection!

Lori, from Paper and Thread, created the most amazing invitations and paper goods…her designs are so much fun…I love it!

I have to say the food was one of the yummiest I’ve had at showers…I could eat mini burgers and sweet potato fries all day long!

For the take home gift they put together a collection of modern baby lullabies…such a cute idea!

For the dessert table we did a simple, yet modern one tier cake and kyong accented it with a fondant made record on top!  Then we did guitar pick sugar cookies, salted caramel french macarons, rice krispy treats, lemon raspberry cupcakes, and my favorite & Christina’s passion fruit panna cotta!

I just love these new shot glass holders I got…they are perfect for the modern look!
