Well as most of you know we just opened our second location in Newport Beach’s Crystal Cove Promenade last week Wednesday and the outpouring of love and support has been amazing! We had such a wonderful (and crazy busy) first week and we can’t wait to see how this new shop grows into its own! I again have to give a shout out to the amazing Jeni from Found Vintage Rentals. She captured this instagram photo on Friday when she brought in the last pieces of furniture and to say I was blown away is an understatement. She went above and beyond for our little shop and it clearly shows in my opinion! Thank you so much Jeni…we love our new shop’s look!

Typically I only hire on after someone has completely an unpaid 2 month internship with us, but with our quickly expanding business we do have an opening that I need to fill for an experienced baker/pastry chef. Hiring at Sweet & Saucy Shop Long Beach! Looking for a well experienced, hard working, team player to join our team. Needs to have at least 2-3 yrs work experience in a bakery environment. Position would be for a baker/pastry chef who would be responsible for mini desserts, macarons, frosting, etc. Person needs to be able to run day/night shift during the week from 11-7pm and weekends during the morning/daytime. The person needs to be a quick learner, can work in a fast paced environment, and a team player. Please do not email if you are just out of pastry school or with less than 2-3 yrs experience as this position is for our higher level baker/pastry chef position, not an entry level position (for that we only do internships first).
