Well I have been waiting for this day for a while…Style Me Pretty’s new book just came out on Decemeber 18th and I couldn’t be more overjoyed! Last year Abby asked if I could be the contributing cake designer for the whole book and of course I said yes after pinching myself a million times! I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Jose Villa, Lisa Vorce, Kate Holdt, and Rebecca Schmidt Ruebensaal on the books six styled photo shoots and I have to say they turned out pretty amazing! Below is one peek from a shoot we did with them that was a bonus chapter that Abby recently featured on her blog! You can buy the book at any major bookstore or online through Amazon.
I have to say this might be one of my favorite cakes! I have fallen in love with gold this past year and I love to add it to anything and everything when it comes to cake and desserts! I love simplicity as well and I think that is cake is very simple, yet just my style!
From the paintings to the gold encrusted silverware…I am in love with everything!

You just cannot get more chic than gold! That cake’s amazing, and the gold-trim china is lovely too!
