My dear friend Carlie, from Gabriel Ryan Photographers, took our maternity photos and I really don’t think I would’ve picked anyone else to do it…she captured everything perfectly and these photos are something I will treasure for the rest of my life…thanks Carlie!  We were also lucky enough to be featured on the blog, Onto Baby, my new obsession these past few months, so you can check out their full post here!

As many of my friends and family members will tell you I certainly am doing my fair share of shopping for my little girl…I just can’t stop myself when I see tiny clothes and shoes!  Yes I know she probably will only wear those shoes for half a second, but they have made me smile so much already and her tiny feet aren’t even in them yet!

My sweet hubby Tim has been the best partner ever to go through this pregnancy with…I will cherish every memory of him talking to little blake in my belly and seeing the joy on his face as he talks about all his future plans with his little girl.  She is one lucky lady to have such an amazing daddy!

Of course we had to do a couple wardrobe changes…just in case my pregnant and ever changing body didn’t look so good in one outfit Thankfully Carlie is a master at what she does and made all my outfits work!

Well this is the first of many cakes I will get to design for my little girl…just wait till your first birthday blake, mommy will make sure and go all out!

Chocolate milk shot glasses anyone

For Crew’s birthday desserts we went with the ombre blue color scheme and added some surf themed touches to the desserts.

I love this new ombre buttercream technique that we have been doing at the shop and thought it would be perfect for Crew’s cake…it’s modern, clean, and bold.  We added a fondant surfboard and some gold fish to the bottom of the cake and voila! Ashley also rented this fab table from Found Vintage Rentals!

We created some ombre blue cake lollipops and added mini shark fins to the tops of them.  For the bottom of the dish I thought it would be fun put the gold fish again.

We then did some mini cupcakes, vanilla panna cotta shot glasses tinted blue, and chocolate dipped ombre rice crispy treats!

We created a 5 tier dusty blue cake with lots of gold accents that was set on a table all by itself…

Heavenly Blooms created the over-the-top gorgeous flowers for the big wedding day!

Like I said, we pulled out all the stops for the grand mini dessert table that had multiple single tier decorated cakes as well.

The Vibiana was the perfect location for this over the top gorgeous wedding and provided such a lovely backdrop for our table.

I loved the color scheme for this wedding and it was so fun to incorporate it into our desserts…the blue and gold worked perfectly for this french macaron tower.

Tori & Dean did a fabulous job of decorating the whole venue!  I loved the table set up and details…

Can you say over the top luxury!

The bride, Wimberly, created the lovely invitations herself…

I love Carissa’s floral arrangements and decor…it fit the look perfectly!

For the mini dessert bar we used lots of cut glass and amber cake stands and I loved the look of it.

Some of gorgeous rentals, like this table for the dessert bar, were from Found Vintage Rentals…they are the best!

They had a special family recipe they wanted us to recreate which was a fun addition to the mini dessert bar.

For the cake we wanted to do something clean and modern, but also look rich and elegant.  We stuck with the white and gold color scheme and I decided to paint fondant braids gold and use them to wrap around the cake tiers.  Then we did a white ruffle sugar flower with a large gold center.

Looks like everyone at the wedding had a great time!

We based the cake design off of her invites and I just love how it turned out with the rainbow chevron pattern

We also did a little buttercream smash cake for the birthday girl!

Also I know most of you know that follow us on Facebook and Twitter, but for those of you who don’t this Christmas is a very special one for my family and I as my husband and I are expecting our first little bun in the oven!  We are so excited and feel so blessed to be having a little baby girl this upcoming March!
