Mother’s Day, Father’s Day & Graduation Desserts

`Get ready for a post with LOTS of photos! I thought I would group together the upcoming celebrations into one large post and let you see what kind of fun treats we have in store for your loved ones! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and we have lots of beautiful, delicious goodies for you! Everything from “MOM” sugar cookies to rose cupcakes, french macarons with hand painted messages and of course of tasty and cute mini mason jar desserts! I have to thank the talented Lyndsey Hall of Jack & Lola Photography for shooting a lot of these images for me! She always captures our desserts so beautifully! Sadly I didn’t have all my treats ready for her to shoot so I had to take some on my iphone as well and included them!

This next photo gets me every time! I am a little obsessed with adding tiny mustaches to things I think and some of these Father’s Day desserts made me all giddy inside. Father’s Day isn’t for a little while, but my creative juices were flowing so we came up with our desserts early and wanted to show them off to you! Bow ties, mustaches, golf…what more could a Dad ask for!

Easter Desserts + Gorgeous Spring Shoot with Ruche

It’s not everyday you get to see your desserts alongside models, so this post is super fun to share! Our consultant Jenny worked with Ruche and helped design some gorgeous cakes and desserts for their Spring time photo shoot with the amazing Stephanie Williams (her photos always make me swoon). I absolutely love everything Ruche and shop there myself, so definitely check them out!

These images seem like they are straight out of a movie…I’m in love!

And a real bunny…so cute!

Well since Spring time is officially here and Easter is right around the corner I thought I would share with you our Easter themed desserts for this year! We have lots of pretty cute goodies for you and plenty of packaged desserts to fill those Easter baskets up with! Definitely pre-order since most of these style desserts will go quickly the day before Easter and we are closed on Sunday so our staff can enjoy time with their family and friends too! We also have plenty of mini desserts like Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, Mini Key Lime Pies, or Strawberry Shortcake Shot Glasses to fill your Easter table with delicious desserts.

First up these adorable baby chick, chevron Easter egg, and bunny cake pops!

For cupcakes we can do little nests, pretty flowers, or little baby chicks. For mini cupcakes we can accent them with little Easter eggs!

Our XOXO rice krispy treats all bagged up were so popular for Valentine’s Day that we thought we would create some for Easter and did some cute little eggs all pretty and ready to be eaten!

Of course we have to do our customer favorite sugar cookies! Love the polka dot bunny!

And lastly for French Macarons we have specialty Easter bunnies and little eggs. Of course you can just get an assortment of our regular macarons in pretty colors too! We can package them in our boxes as well which come in small size 4-5 macarons or large size 8-9 macarons.

Note: Easter egg macaron is same price as the bunny macaron.

Valentine’s Day Photoshoot

I was so happy to be a part of this fun children’s Valentine’s Day photo shoot at Granola Babies! Lyndsey from Jack & Lola Photography took all the great photos and my sister, Sara from SaraRaeShop provided all the headbands, and the cute bow ties are from Haddon Co.!

Sara’s headbands are basically to die for!

Gotta love little ones shoving their faces with treats!

Baby Shower for Ashley & Parker Rose

Get ready for a lot of PRETTY! I am SO in love with this baby shower that we got to throw for the sweet & talented Ashley Rose and her little baby Parker London! The team of ladies behind this special day made it a dream come true to put together….Jesi Haack – Jesi Haack Design, Carissa – JL Designs, Karrie & Elizabeth – Posh Paperie, and Ala – Love Ala who took the gorgeous photos!

We decided to go all out girlie for Ashley’s shower and did lots of gold and pink and SPARKLE, SPARKLE, SPARKLE!!!

Love the backdrop Jesi made for the dessert station!

To add a little extra cuteness to these rice krispy treats we hand painted little arrows & parker’s initials on them!

Karrie & Elizabeth always blow me away with their invitation and paper design! Love dreaming up my dessert bars after I see their designs!

How amazing are Carissa’s florals!?! And gold, sparkle dinos…I die!

Giant balloons are one trend that I am still in love with and think forever will be…

This might be one of my fav dessert spreads yet for a party! I just loved getting to add all the girlie details to it!

Of course we had to do some ice cream cone cake pops, “P” sugar cookies and sparkle macarons!

Don’t you just love Ashley’s dress too! She is such a beautiful mommy!

Simple, cute and modern is what we went with for the cake and I love how it turned out!

Ashley I am so blessed by your friendship and think little Parker London is just the sweetest baby ever…besides Blake of course Congrats!

These treats below would be the perfect Valentine’s Day treats to ship to your loved one, friend, family member, or business associates! We of course are smitten with our custom Sweet & Saucy Shop boxes that hold 12 and 24 cake pops and can be shipped all across the US (except Hawaii…sorry).

We are also so excited to share with you our new custom liners that we had made for our Sweet & Saucy Shop boxes. Now not only do our boxes hold our cake pops, but they can fit our mini and regular cupcakes as well. Sadly we can’t ship these, but if you are local to Long Beach or Orange County then definitely stop in for these customer favorites and have them all tied up in our pretty boxes for only $3 extra! The large boxes hold 6 regular cupcakes or 15 mini cupcakes and the small boxes hold 4 regular cupcakes or 9 mini cupcakes!

Last, but not least if you follow us on instagram, twitter, or facebook you might have seen that we are very excited to announce we are moving our current LB bakery to a new location in Long Beach…Bixby Knolls! We will still be very close off the 405 Freeway off of Atlantic now and our new bakery will be our permanent home since we will own the building! It will be 2 1/2 times the size of our current location and will have 15 parking spots just for our customers…now isn’t that music to your ears! We will also have a refrigerated case and more sit down tables in front like we have in our NB bakery so you will be able to taste more of our treats on a daily basis! Some other very exciting news is that this location has a back building behind it that will be exclusively for dessert decorating classes, so we will now have monthly classes and teach everything from buttercream cakes, to sugar cookies, cupcake decorating, sugar flowers, fondant cakes, and more!

Thanks so much for all your support through these last 6 years or so…I would never of imaged we would have two bakeries and so many wonderful customers!

We start this week tearing down everything that was in the building before and we are starting from scratch and building it how we want it…yippee! A big thanks to my amazing parents and co-owers…without them and the Lord this would never be possible!
