Well the kid’s cakes in my iphoto gallery have been stacking up so I thought I would share some recent ones we’ve done with you! Kyong mainly heads up the kid’s cake section and I have to say she does an amazing job bringing the cake designs to life! First up a 1st birthday party for a little rocker boy

Sesame Street and especially Elmo is always popular with the younger crowd!

This was a fun project we did recently for a 1st birthday party. They had a whole dessert bar set up too, but I don’t have those photos yet. We created three baby tigers for them and then a bunch of adorable baby tiger cake lollipops!

Irene is getting flawless at piped buttercream cakes and this next cake is one of my favorites…

This Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake is a great way to pull off the theme on only a one tier cake; simple, but fun!

This carved flamingo cake was a birthday surprise for a client and they loved it…

I just happen to love this next cake Kyong did…Spongebob and his little krabby cakes and french fries have never looked more cute.

This cake had so much detail and took quite a while to make, but I loved the final product!

And lastly the ever popular Toy Story birthday party, but this time the star of the show was Jessi!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog and make sure and let us know which cake you liked the best!

This next wedding is pure beauty! The couple is gorgeous, the location is divine, and the vendors they picked for their wedding pulled out all the stops! Emily Faulknor Photography captured this lovely San Diego wedding and I even got to partner and work with my best girlfriends Karrie & Elizabeth from Posh Paperie who did all the fabulous invitations and paper design!

The ceremony location is to die for…

Check out the cute invites below…

For the desserts and cake we were really excited to create something amazing! The client loved a previous backdrop that Jesi Haack Design had created for us, so she actually had her father recreate it and I think it turned out great!

I loved working on this new cake design that we did…it was bold, yet elegant!

It took me quite a lot of time to do so much detail on it, but the final product was definitely worth it!

Don’t you just love pretty french macarons…

These creme brulee shot glass desserts are pretty scrumptious too!

Thanks so much for letting us be a part of your special day! To check out the full feature on Style Me Pretty and see all the amazing vendors who helped pull it off check out their post here!

I absolutely love this outdoor wedding that Carter & Cook put together for Brett & Rachel! The whole wedding looks so effortlessly gorgeous, but of course you know that every detail was planned out to perfection! Jackie Wonders took these lovely shots and the wedding was even were featured on Style Me Pretty a couple weeks back…Enjoy!

Their ceremony spot was breathtaking in my opinion…

I love the simplicity of tablescapes like these!

For the dessert bar we wanted it to be homestyle, but still have a touch of elegance so we went with all cut glass clear stands and even added in some fun domes too!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! Hope you enjoy the holiday today!

I am so excited to share this gorgeous wedding from Bre, of Joyful Weddings & Events! It was held at the Fransiscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano and the gorgeous photos are from Sarah of Frenzel Photography! I love the outdoor rustic elegance this wedding has…simply beautiful!

Of course all the gorgeous rentals were from Found Vintage Rentals…my favorite!

How amazing is this backdrop…I was so thrilled when I saw it! We did a trio of rustic cakes, which is one of my favorite wedding looks and then accented them with large dahlia flowers…can you say LOVELY!

And of course I can never pass up a good shoe shot! Best wishes Rachel & Jeff!

Recently Kyong and I had the chance to make a fun Toy Story themed cake. Now this was not your typical cake, but instead the client wanted a GIANT Woody Doll cake. It was a lot of work, but definitely worth it in the end…

And here is a fun sneak peak of what the cake looked like before we decorated it

Groom’s cakes are very popular these days and this next one was quite the challenge! The bride said her future husband loved the Transformer’s and so she wanted to surprise him with a giant Transformer. This cake took Kyong and I quite a long time to make, but we finished it & thankfully it was delivered safe & sound!

You never know what kind of crazy requests you are going to get when you own a bakery and this next cake was definitely up there in the interesting cake category! The bride said her future husband LOVED Elvis and specially “fat” Elvis, so that is what we gave her!

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our crazy cakes…definitely let us know which on is your favorite!
