One of My Favorite Cakes!

We get to make lots of wedding cakes during the year, but certain cakes come along and make me so inspired and this cake was one of them! I loved designing the cake based off of a wedding dress from Anthropologie’s new wedding website BHLDN and then meshing it with the style of the bride’s wedding design. They were a wonderful couple to work with and I think their wedding just turned out dream-like. They got married at the gorgeous Rancho Las Lomas and of course has Found Vintage Rentals to deck out the whole venue with their amazing furniture pieces & rentals. White Haute Photography snapped the stunning images and Larissa from, Inviting Occasions, did the lovely florals. You can check out all the other great venues down below!

We not only did a wedding cake, but a fun mini dessert spread and a vintage baseball glove as well for the groom that LOVES baseball!

Love this last photo of the couple cutting the cake…

Like I said this has to be one of my favorite cake designs. It has so much texture and design, but is still modern and clean looking. I basically did all the sugar flowers and lace molds by hand and then accented some pieces with pewter silver. Here is the dress from BHLDN that inspired me!

I did 3 tones of blush pink…one of my favorite colors.

While I worked on the cake for this wedding Kyong sculpted this amazing vintage baseball glove groom’s cake….the details are fantastic!!!

I love this Winter Wonderland color scheme with touches of gold and silver! I had an amazing team of ladies to work with…Jaclyne of Heavenly Blooms did the gorgeous florals for the day, Kim from The TomKat Studio made the most adorable tags & cards for everything, Gianna from Chic Celebrations helped design & pull off the whole look, and Drew, from Drew B Photography took the lovely photos!

Christmas Time is Here

All of us girls over at Sweet & Saucy Shop have been busy, busy elves so far this Christmas Season! We have lots of fun treats for you this year and I have to say a big THANK YOU to the talented ladies over at Anders Ruff! Adria & Maureen were sweet enough to make all of these adorable Christmas tags for me. I have to say they really take my treats to the next level and you are lucky because you too can have them and all of their other fabulous designs through their Esty shop! Definitely a must have!

I have to say our Pistachio French Macaroon might be my new obsession!

I am quite smitten with these French Macaroon Towers too…wouldn’t they be the perfect addition to any holiday party!

Mad Men Style Wedding

I just had to share this amazingly fun 1960’s Mad Men Style Wedding that I got to be a part of. When I finally got the photos I was blown away with the whole look of the wedding…every single detail was incredible. Halloween @ Sweet & Saucy Shop

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! I have l0ts of good posts coming up for you this week, but first I had to share some of the fun costumes my staff put together! I truly have amazing group of ladies working for me and I couldn’t be more blessed!

Later that night I did the pirate look again for my best friend Kate’s party…isn’t she the cutest lady from Mad Men!

Hayley and I both got to go to Palm Springs this weekend with our hubbies for the amazing party that The Flash Dance & Bash Please put on at the Ace Hotel! Amelia Lyon will have more amazing photos soon, but I just had to share a couple sneak peaks that I took!
