Definitely trying to get in a couple blog posts this week, so up next are some fun specialty cakes that we recently had a chance to make!  My favorite for sure is the Gucci Purse cake that Kyong and I worked on…we had a great time making it and I’m happy to say the client was thrilled!

We actually had to hand paint all of the Gucci symbols onto the cake.  It definitely was a tedious project, but I think well worth it.

We also get make make lots of kid’s cakes and the “Jungle Theme” is quite a popular one!  First up custom cupcakes that Kyong did an amazing job at!

How adorable are those!  Kyong also incorporated these cute little animals onto a recent cake we made.  The cake was covered in chocolate ganache instead of fondant and then accented with fondant pieces.

We also got to do a fun groom’s cake for a great couple.  The groom loved poker so we did a stack of poker chips, while incorporating their wedding colors into the design.

Another groom’s cake that we just made incorporated all of the groom’s loves onto one cake.  It was a surprise too and I just wish I could’ve been there to see his reaction!
