Most of the wedding industry knows that I am pretty addicted to doing photos shoot! I just love being able to have full control of coming up with a new cake or dessert design and the whole process is really a lot of fun for me since I get to try out new techniques and push the design boundaries
This first shoot was such a fun one we did for Styled Magazine, which is a new online magazine that my talented friend Vicky started. She had a great idea of having one inspirational image and sending it to a bunch of different wedding vendors and seeing what they’d come up with.

I loved this inspiration photo below and immediately wanted to do an out-of-the-box design for this mini cake.

We made white pom pom sugar flowers and then for the cake I thought it would be fun to do the top half of the cake black and the bottom white…I love the bold contrast and once we threw the sprinkles on the cake it just completed it perfectly!

Of course we have to add some cute french macarons to the shoot and we even sprinkled them with the colorful sprinkles too…

This next shoot was for another online wedding magazine called NonPareil. I was so excited to be featured in it as well and for this shoot we took a more modern, clean, preppy approach to the design. I got to work with Vicky, from City Cradle Design, again, The Floral Lab, who did the beautiful flowers, and the talented Jackie Wonders snapped the gorgeous photos!

We created two flavors of french macarons for the shoot, a large cake, and accented the table with some fun bright candy!

I love the look of grey, yellow and white together and I thought the bold pops of color and pattern on the cake turned out nicely.

Lastly I had the pleasure of working with a fabulous team on this next shoot. I love the combo of green and white together and this shoot shows why! Kathy & Susan from Bella Weddings & Events did the planning & design, Carissa, from JL Designs, did the stunning florals, and Leila, from Be Inspired PR, produced the whole shoot! You can check out the rest of the amazing team down below! Also big thanks to Barnaby Draper Studios for the great photos!

The whole shoot was at the Vibiana in LA ad I have to say it is one of the most breathtaking venues in California!

For the wedding cake we wanted to keep it all white on white, but add plenty of gorgeous texture to it, so we made sugar patterns and lace to accent the tiers and piped on small white dots to accent it.

We also did some bright green apples dipped in white chocolate…love the color contrast!

Thanks so much to the whole team for making this beautiful shoot come to life!
